MAG. Rupert Strobl – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Investment Committee
Rupert Strobl, born on 30.08.1954 in Graz, Austria, holds a Master’s degree in Social and Economic Studies from the University of Graz. He began his career as an economist at the Chamber of Labour in Graz before moving into the insurance sector with Wiener Städtische AG.
In 1986, he joined WVP Versicherungsvermittlung GmbH Graz, where since 1989 he has served as General Director of the entire group.
MAG. Strobl has more than 25 years of experience in investing on global stock markets. He is responsible for the investment policy of the private investment fund WVP Invest Vermögensverwaltung GmbH & Co. KEG, where from 1996 to 2014 he successfully managed capital of EUR 25 million, achieving an average annual net return of 7.5% for investors. This success stems from a conservative investment strategy – purchasing “blue chips,” large and reliable companies at attractive prices that continue to generate solid profits and pay dividends to investors even during economic downturns.
His extensive and successful long-term experience in investing in securities on global stock markets will be utilized for the WVP Premium Invest Fund, where he also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee of WVP Fund Management AD Skopje.
MAG. Rupert Strobl is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of WVP Insurance Brokerage Company AD Skopje, as well as a board member in all 17 subsidiary companies of the WVP GmbH Graz group.
Petar Andreevski – Chief Executive Officer
Born on 29.07.1985. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, majoring in Informatics and Computer Engineering. He holds an insurance broker license issued by the Insurance Supervision Agency. Over the years, he has completed numerous specialized trainings and seminars in management, insurance, sales, communication skills and public speaking in Austria, the United States (Kellogg School of Management), Croatia and Macedonia. He has also taken part in many interactive training events for WVP AD Skopje associates, where he has delivered expert lectures on insurance, sales, and communication skills.
- His professional career began in 2004 as a consultant for WVP Versicherungsvermittlung GmbH Graz.
- In 2010, he joined WVP Insurance Brokerage AD Skopje as an insurance broker, quickly establishing himself as one of the company’s top performers.
- In 2012, he was recognized as the Best Sales Manager within the WVP Group, which operates across 17 European countries.
- In 2008, he co-founded the brokerage house EUROHAUS AD Skopje, a member of the Macedonian Stock Exchange. In this company, he held the position of Manager for Development, Strategic Management, and Acquisition of Large Clients.
Andrijana Popovska – Executive Director
Born on 5.11.1993 in Bitola, Macedonia, Andrijana Popovska completed her primary and secondary education with consistent academic excellence.
In 2012, she enrolled at the Institute of Mathematics within the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, choosing the Theoretical Mathematics track as the ideal path to further expand and deepen her knowledge and passion for mathematics. Two years later, she developed a strong interest in financial mathematics, statistical modelling and probability, which led her to pursue an additional concentration in Mathematical Economics.
As a student, Ms. Popovska actively participated in several conferences in the fields of insurance and actuarial science. She graduated in 2017 with dual degrees in Mathematics and Mathematical Economics, defending her thesis on “Empirical Determination of Mathematical Reserves in Non-Life Insurance Using the Chain Ladder Method.”
Towards the end of her final academic year, she began her internship at WVP Fund Management AD Skopje, a Company for the Management of Open-End and Closed-End Investment Funds. After completing a three-month internship, she officially joined the WVP Fund Management team on 21.03.2017.
Since then, she has advanced to the role of Portfolio Manager for open-end investment funds, responsible for managing fund portfolios in line with defined investment profiles, risk parameters, and allocation structures. Her work includes preparing in-depth analyses of realized and potential returns and risks in capital markets, as well as maintaining regular communication with clients.
In November 2018, she successfully completed a one‑year certified program in Risk Management at the Academy of Banking and Information Technology in Skopje. Her final project, “Analysis of Risks Arising in Portfolio Management of Securities,” earned her the professional designation Certified Risk Manager (CRO).
On December 27, 2019, pursuant to Decision No. 09-1414/1 issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia, she obtained a license as an Investment Advisor, following the successful completion of the professional examination for investment advising.
She also holds the internationally recognized Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification, awarded by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
Committed to continuous professional development, she regularly enhances her expertise by attending numerous conferences in the fields of asset management and risk management.
Blaže Petreski – Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors
Born on 27 November 1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University. He holds an insurance broker license issued by the Insurance Supervision Agency.
Over the years, he has completed numerous specialized trainings and seminars in management, insurance, sales, communication skills and public speaking in Austria, the United States, Croatia and Macedonia. He has also taken part in many interactive training events for WVP AD Skopje associates, where he has delivered expert lectures on insurance, sales, and communication skills.
- Since 2005, he has served as Executive Director of WVP Insurance Brokerage AD Skopje, establishing himself as one of the company’s most successful brokers.
- Since 2014, he has been a Non-Executive Director at WVP Fund Management AD Skopje.
MAG. Willi Stefan Sajbl – Non-Executive and Independent Member of the Board of Directors
Born on 6 June 1947 in Graz, Austria. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Graz.
From 1983 to 1989, he served as Regional Director at Wiener Städtische Insurance, where he was responsible for the profitable management of regional branches, focusing on sales growth and efficient administration.
Since 2014, Mr. Sajbl has been an Independent and Non‑Executive Member of the Board of Directors at WVP Fund Management AD Skopje.
